One-Day Symposium on “Frontiers in Computing in Chemistry: From Molecular Mechanisms to Complex Systems”

Center for High-Performance Computing (CHPC) organizing, One-Day Symposium on “Frontiers in Computing in Chemistry: From Molecular Mechanisms to Complex Systems”  to be held at IISER Thiruvananthapuram on 28 September 2026. 

The symposium aims to bring together leading researchers working in computational chemistry, molecular simulations, high-performance computing, chemical physics, materials modeling, bio-molecular modeling, artificial intelligence, and related disciplines to discuss recent advances, exchange scientific ideas, and foster future collaborations. 

Honorable Director, Prof. Srinivasa Murty Srinivasula, has consented to inaugurate the symposium at 9:30 AM. Please find the flyer and the program attached.

The symposium is open to PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty members, and will provide an opportunity to explore recent developments and emerging directions in computational chemistry and related areas. Students of the Integrated PhD, MSc, and BS-MS programs pursuing research in computational chemistry and related areas are also encouraged to register for the symposium.
